Health Secretary apologises over Gosport War Memorial Hospital deaths

The Health Secretary has apologised to families whose loved ones died at the Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

Last year, an independent report said 456 patients during the 1980s and 90s had their lives shortened. It concluded the hospital had shown "a disregard for human life".

Matt Hancock apologised on behalf of the Government and talked about the ways the NHS has responded to the events at Gosport.
