Pride Festival in Brighton could be hit by bin strike

It's the biggest event of the year in Brighton - but it's feared a bin strike at this year's Pride could leave the city in a real mess.

Talks have broken down between the GMB Union and the council in a dispute about 'anti-trade union behaviour' - with staff now due to walk out for a week in early August.

The protest comes after residents said they already feel 'like prisoners in their homes' in an area of Kemp Town, closed off for a 48-hour party. Andy Dickenson reports.
