May Day - or rather, the May Day Bank Holiday - is on the move. And not everyone is pleased about the change. Morris dancers and folk musicians from Sussex and Kent were among those who've been taking part in a protest in London over the plans.
The Jack in the Green celebrations at Hastings in East Sussex are among the biggest in the country. The government is moving the public holiday in 2020 from Monday to Friday to coincide with the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day in the Second World War.
But organisers of the Hastings event say the late announcement has thrown their plans into chaos. Malcolm Shaw reports.
