Former 24 and Designated Survivor star Kiefer Sutherland paid a visit to children's hospices in Winchester this weekend.
Mr Sutherland visited Naomi House and Jacksplace in Winchester, meeting children, young adults and their carers.
The Hollywood star was fresh from a performance in Bournemouth.
He spent more than an hour at the site, before heading on to the Wickham Music festival where he was due to perform.
Staff at the hospices said he was "so generous with his time."
He is about as busy as a man can be at the moment. To wake up to a Twitter message from hims saying he really wanted to come along was just incredible."
The actor's visit followed a twitter plea from the charity, inviting him to visit for "some tea, cake and a jam."
