Last month, Hannah Bishop won a competition to design the ultimate 'dream wheelchair' to make life for disabled people more accessible.

The 23-year-old from Horsham designed her dream wheelchair to have the ability to climb stairs, travel underwater and go on the beach.

A company has since come forward with a wheelchair that is specially designed to help people with disabilities access beaches more easily.

The wheelchair is being donated to Brighton & Hove City Council for a three-month trial and will be handed out to help others.

I spoke to one girl who was in a wheelchair, who told me that she'd lived in Brighton but hadn't been down to the beach, to the sea for seven years, which is tragic really when you think that's what most of us do. But of course the trouble we have is the steep, rolling beaches that we have."
