A man has been arrested by Thames Valley Police in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Harun Jama in Oxford last year.
The teenager was stabbed near a bridge at Friars Wharf on 3rd January 2018. He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
Detectives have been investigating the fatal stabbing since the death. Earlier this year in January, on the first anniversary of Harun Jama's death, they re-released their appeal for information about the crime.
A 34-year-old man was arrested in Liverpool yesterday on suspicion of murdering the teenager. The man has been released on police bail until Wednesday 2nd October.
