Fishermen in the region are asking the government for better protection as the trade is branded the most dangerous job in the UK.
Last year, six fishermen died at sea while carrying out their jobs, which those working in the industry say is 'unacceptable'.
Here in the south, three men lost their lives when their fishing boat sank off the coast of Weymouth in 2012. The Government recently announced £1m is to be spent on improving safety for those working on the seas.
