Centuries old music to be sung to the modern man

Musical pieces dating back hundreds of years are being performed as part of the Brighton Early Music Festival.

A number of concerts have been lined up across the city over a two week period to showcase the event, but do the singers hit the right notes?

A powerful piece - known as Antoine Brumel's complete set of Lamentations - was discovered in Italy by Laurie Stras where it lay hidden for 500 years. It's one of the pieces the group will be singing.
