Dorset man becomes first to run marathon in EVERY country of the world

Just when you thought there weren't any more marathon milestones to reach, a runner from Dorset has completed an extraordinary feat- running a marathon in every country of the world.

Nick Butter, who grew up near Cranborne, has just completed the Athens marathon, bringing his total to 196 since January last year.

The endurance athlete, 28, crossed the finishing line in Athens this morning, setting a new world record. A number of supporters joined him for the final run.

Nick, who also works as a motivational speaker, appeared to barely break sweat as he completed the 5130th mile of his challenge.

Nick is hoping to raise Β£250,000 in the battle to combat prostate cancer.
