In just over a month, on December 12th, people in the Meridian region will find out who their new MP will be.
In the Thames Valley the former MP for Newbury, Richard Benyon, won't be standing again. Neither will Ed Vaizey, who once represented Wantage, Philip Lee, the ex MP for Bracknell, John Bercow, who had represented Buckingham and David Lidington who was, formerly, the MP for Aylesbury.
Here's our Political Correspondent Phil Hornby with a round up:
In the east of the region, former MP and Ex Home Secretary Amber Rudd has said she won't be standing again in Hastings and Rye. Neither will Sir Nicholas Soames - who once represented Mid Sussex.
Michael Fallon, the former MP for Sevenoaks will also not be standing.
Elsewhere in the south, former Eastleigh MP Mims Davies is one of three conservative candidates hoping to stand in the Sussex seat.
Former West Dorset MP Sir Oliver Letwin, and Nick Herbert, who once represented Arundel and South Downs are also not standing.
