However, occasional heavy and perhaps thundery showers will affect eastern areas and some southern coasts, with the just odd shower elsewhere. Maximum temperature 9 deg C (48 deg F).
Tonight: Some clearer spells for a time, but still the odd shower, perhaps heavy near the south coast. However, more persistent rain is likely to spread from the northeast by morning. Minimum temperature 3 deg C (37 deg F).
Friday: Some further showers then brighter for a time before further cloud and outbreaks of showery rain spread from the east. Maximum temperature 10 deg C (50 deg F).
Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Bright or sunny intervals and occasional showers Saturday and Sunday, and with lighter winds. Monday probably dry and bright in the west, but breezier with some rain in the east.
