The horrifying moment a driver crashed his car at 92 miles an hour in a residential street in Gosport - has been played in court, as he was jailed for 18 months.
Dashcam footage in Callum Hobbs' car, showed him accelerating to 92 miles an hour as he drove through Gosport with friends in March this year.
They can be heard laughing, until he fails to make it round a bend on Tichbourne Way and crashes into a garden wall.
Hobbs, who's 20 and from Ipswich, but gave his work address as Fort Nelson, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and was jailed at Portsmouth Crown Court.
His front seat passenger, a 20 year old woman, is still being treated for serious spinal and internal injuries.
Police released the footage as a warning to others.
PC Robert Lewis said "This was a prolonged and continued display of poor driving by Hobbs.
"Hobbs not only put his own life in danger, by reaching extreme speeds in a residential area, but the lives of his passengers, and members of the public."
