The Prime Minister brought his election tour to the Port of Southampton today.
Boris Johnson was joined by the Home Secretary Priti Patel - and outlined plans to strengthen borders and control immigration after Brexit - if the Conservatives win.
Mr Johnson was in Southampton Itchen - the Tories most marginal seat in the country.
The Prime Minister and Home Secretary Priti Patel, were given a lengthy briefing before visiting a room where vessels are tracked. They then took a short trip on a boat to conclude their visit.
It came as the Conservatives vowed to strengthen border security after Brexit. Their choice of location for the visit is likely to have been influenced by the fact that Southampton Itchen was held by the party in 2017 by a majority of just 31 votes.
