Riding centre for the disabled on lockdown to protect its horses from deadly disease

A riding centre for the disabled, near Abingdon, has gone into lockdown after an outbreak of the highly contagious equine herpes virus in other parts of the region. Three horses at an equestrian centre in Hampshire have already died from the disease, forcing it into quarantine. As a precaution, other centres have followed suit, including the Riding for the Disabled group in Abingdon, which plans to stay closed for another week. Ann Barlow from the centre, says it was a difficult decision, but the right thing to do.
