Two people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a jewellers in Eastbourne.
Robbers entered Brufords Jewellers in The Beacon Shopping Centre on Sunday morning (26th) and stole 15 Rolex watches with an estimated value of between £100,000 and £150,000.
Police say four men, all wearing masks and one was reported to be carrying a small handheld pick axe or hammer, entered the shop at around 10am.
Armed police officers were on the scene and following a police helicopter search, two people were arrested on the Cuckoo trial near Station Road on suspicion of robbery.
Officers are now searching for two outstanding suspects.
A silver Range Rover Evoque was found abandoned in Orchard Grange, and recovered as part of their investigation.
Detective Inspector Ben Newman said: "We would like to hear from anyone that has any information about the occupants of this vehicle or where the suspects may have gone when they fled the abandoned car.
