A doctors surgery in Berkshire has been temporarily closed after concerns about Coronavirus.

Boundary House GP Surgery in Bracknell shut after a patient who had travelled through Thailand was seen there on Monday.

The surgery is being deep cleaned as a precaution and staff hope to reopen as soon as possible.

Patients will be told if their appointment needs to be rearranged.

Meanwhile, two prisoners at HMP Bullingdon in Oxfordshire are being tested for Coronavirus.

The prisoners are currently in isolation and one wing has been closed.

One of the prisoners is believed to have recently returned from Thailand.

A school in Southampton remained closed as a precaution against Coronavirus.

St Mary's Independent School in Bitterne Park shut on Monday after some students had recently travelled to a region affected by the virus.

Specialist teams have been deep cleaning the school, which will stay closed until Wednesday.

Some pupils were put in isolation on Monday after they reported symptoms similar to the Coronavirus.

These students were checked by medical staff at Southampton General Hospital.

In a statement, St Mary's said their priority is the health, safety and welfare of students and staff.

The school also said it had been advised by the NHS to take all steps possible and had been liaising with Public Health England.
