Oxford clinic warns against 'botched facial fillers'

Health experts are warning the public against getting cosmetic treatments like facial fillers from unqualified practitioners or doing it themselves.

The last 12 months have seen a sharp rise in the number of vendors offering the injectable treatments, especially online, as a cheaper alternative to treatments given by specialists.

This has led to a surge in botched work that has cost the NHS more than £29 million to put right. The Government says it's taking steps to crack down on the problem.
