Regional airline Eastern Airways is to launch two new routes from Southampton following the collapse of Flybe.
Flights between Southampton and Manchester and Southampton and Newcastle will start as soon as Wednesday (11 March).
A further Scottish service from Southampton to Aberdeen will begin in April.
Competitor LoganAir is also launching new routes from Southampton filling gaps left by Flybe's closure.
The news will be welcomed by Southampton Airport as the future of the hub had been left in doubt by the news of the airline's collapse.
2,000 staff members lost their jobs following the announcement on Friday (6 March).
