There are fewer things harder in a parent's life than hearing that your child is seriously ill. And with a cancer diagnosis, hope can sometimes be in short supply.
For one seven-year-old who's been through leukaemia there was a chance to pass on some encouragement at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
