Couple quarantined for Coronavirus on cruise back in UK

A couple from Banbury who were diagnosed with Coronavirus while on a cruise ship holiday overseas have returned home to the UK.

David and Sally Abel were quarantined while onboard the Diamond Princess cruise liner last month. They were transferred to a hospital in Japan.

Mr Abel posted a video on his Youtube channel on Saturday night saying that following their stay in hospital they had had two negative tests for the Coronavirus. He said that they had flown back home earlier on the Saturday. The video he posted showed him and his wife in a car with his son driving.

''It's really great news - lovely to be back... Yes I had all the negative tests... And it's been plain sailing all the way through."
