A new date for the Reading Half Marathon has been announced.
The race, which was due to take place on Sunday 5th April, was postponed earlier this month due to the coronavirus.
The Reading Half Marathon will now take place on Sunday 1st November 2020.
All runners who have entered the 2020 race will automatically be transferred to the new date and entries for the half marathon will soon re-open.
Organisers said they been "working tirelessly" to confirm the new date and were aware that the autumn would be a "busy time for re-scheduled events" due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Race director, Judith Manson wanted to "thank all involved for their... support, positivity and solidarity".
Organisers of the race say they will continue to monitor the information and developments of Covid-19, along with guidance from the UK Government.
Stay safe, enjoy your training but we do urge you to listen to the Government’s social distancing guidelines. Together we can get through this, we look forward to seeing you all at the start line in November."
