CCTV of dog walker released in toddler death investigation

Hampshire Constabulary have released CCTV footage of a dog walker who they think could have information in their investigation into the death of a toddler.

Two-year-old Greyson Birch was found unresponsive in water at Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve on Sunday 30th May. Police, ambulance and fire services attended and retrieved him.

He was taken to Southampton General Hospital but died on Thursday 3rd June.

Police are hoping the person in the footage reaches out to them to share whether or not they saw Greyson that evening at the nature reserve.

Anyone else who was at the reserve between 7.45pm and 8.30pm should call 101 quoting 44210210811.

An 18-year-old man from Southampton who was previously arrested in connection with this incident on suspicion of neglect remains on bail until 30th August.
