A distressed fox which was seen clinging to seaweed in the water off Ramsgate Harbour has been rescued.
Firefighters received a report from a member of the public that a young fox was stuck in water along the harbour wall.
The animal appeared exhausted as it clung to a pile of seaweed, struggling to escape to safety.
Working quickly against the incoming tide, firefighters used poles and specialist rescue tools to swiftly lift the fox back onto solid ground.
The pup was then reunited with its furry fox friend, who had been sat watching the rescue nearby.
