Police appeal for witnesses

Police officers investigating a fatal crash between a motorbike and a Nissan 4x4 have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

Investigating officer Sergwant Wayne Mills, of the Roads Policing Department based in Bicester, is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact him on 101.

One person killed and two injured

A man died and two people were injured in a crash involving a motorbike and a car in Oxfordshire.

At about 3.25pm on 1st June 2013, the motorbike and a Nissan X-Trail 4x4 collided on Station Road, Bampton.

The man riding the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he later died from his injuries.

A man and a woman in the Nissan suffered minor injuries in the collision. The woman was taken to Witney Community Hospital with an arm injury.

Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses.
