Petition backing Brighton Speed Trials reaches 9,000 signatures

Nine thousand signatures have been collected in a petition supporting the return of Brighton's Speed Trials. The event was cancelled in 2013 after a death at the event in the previous year.

Petition's 9,000 signatures call for return of Brighton Speed Trials

More than nine thousand people have signed a petition to save an institution of British motor racing, two years after a competitor died at the event. Councillors have not yet given their approval for the annual Brighton Speed Trial, in September. Andy Dickenson reports.
