Mouldy rooms, rat droppings and rising damp. That's what some students say they are having to put up with in their rented accommodation. They say its endangering their health and their studies.
The student rental market is huge. There are around 100,000 studying at universities across the south. Southampton has the biggest number with more than 40,000 students at the city's two uni's. Almost 22,000 go to Portsmouth and a similar number in Bournemouth.
Well two students from Bournemouth have had enough and have developed a website to name and shame some of the worst properties. Martin Dowse reports.
