Families' pleas to save homes from demolition

"Please don't destroy our homes." That's the plea from families living on an estate in Berkshire earmarked for demolition.

Residents in around 180 houses on the Gorse Ride South estate in Finchampstead have been served demolition notices by Wokingham Borough Council which wants to redevelop the area.

Many of the properties - which were built in the 1970s - are council owned, but some have been bought by tenants under the 'right to buy' scheme.

Mel Bloor has been speaking exclusively to worried residents.
