Campaigners protest for better Lyme Disease awareness

Campaigners demanding more awareness of Lyme Disease have been protesting outside the House of Commons.

The disease is caused by being bitten by an infected tick and is one of the fastest growing diseases in the Western World, but it's still a condition that confuses doctors.

Lyme Disease causes devastating side effects and can affect the nervous system. It's spread by certain types of ticks - which are prevalent in the New Forest among other places.

Campaigners say that the problem still isn't being dealt with properly.
