The hunt continues tonight for two intruders who shot a man in his own home during a burglary on the Hampshire Dorset border. Emergency services were called to a property in Castlewood at St Ives near Ringwood in the early hours of yesterday morning. Guy Hedger was taken to hospital but died from his injuries. Police say they believe the burglary was pre-planned as Richard Jones reports.
Police this afternoon said the murder of a man shot dead by intruders was pre-planned. They said they were looking for at least two offenders who broke into the home wearing balaclavas and in possession of a shotgun. Jewellery including designer watches were taken from the house.
