The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat was shot with a pellet gun in Horsham.
Lola, a two-year-old, long-haired silver tortoiseshell returned to her home in Gorringes Brook with injury to her front right leg on Monday morning.
She was taken straight to a vet who found a new pellet in the elbow, and an old one in her left shoulder. She is currently having surgery on her elbow, which was shot off by the pellet, and had to be completely rebuilt.
Police are appealing for information following an incident in which a cat was injured after being shot with a sling shot in Wolverton Road, Baughurst Common in Tadley.
At around 7pm on Thursday, April 16 the owner of the cat heard two sounds from a silver 4x4 vehicle which was parked at the end of his driveway. He then approached the vehicle which consequently drove off. A short while later he found his cat with injuries to its head.
The animal was taken to the vet for treatment. A large lead shot was removed by the vet and the cat ended up losing its eye due to its injuries.
