A motorcyclist who died in a collision near Ditchling on Tuesday has been named as Neil Crouch from Scaynes Hill.
Neil, a serving Sussex Police officer based at Gatwick, died at the scene after his motorbike was in collision with a Ford Focus and a Daihatsu Charade on the B2112 Common Lane, just south of the junction with the B2113 Folders Lane.
He was off duty at the time. The occupants of the two cars were uninjured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Motcombe.

3 Husqvarna bikes were taken from a display stand, 2 bikes were stolen from a secure trailer and another was taken from outside a caravan during the 4 day event.
A 17 year old Alton man has been bailed in connection with the death of a young couple. Officers say that Julian Farley, 25, and Jessica Ellis, 23 were following a black Nissan Micra, driven by the man when the accident happen. They are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
