Eye in the sky helps map marine pollution

Environmentalists are using drone cameras to tackle the growing problem of plastic pollution in our seas.

They're taking thousands of high definition images to pinpoint how much waste there is, and where it's come from.

Members of the public are helping to analyse the data by going online and tagging plastic they spot in the photos.

The Plastic Tide charity is hoping to achieve one million tags, to mark British Science Week, as Malcolm Shaw now reports.
