A woman from Margate has been charged with attempted murder after a a 32-year-old man was seriously assaulted. 42-year-old Maria Francis, of Ethlebert Terrace, Margate was arrested and charged with the offence shortly before midnight yesterday (Monday, 30 September).
She has been refused bail and is due to appear before Magistrates today (Tuesday, 1 October).
A 42-year-old woman from Westgate-on-Sea in Thanet has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police were called to the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate after a 32-year-old man was seriously assaulted. Police say his injuries are life threatening.
The woman is still in police custody.
A 21-year-old woman from Margate has been charged with murder after a man was discovered with stab wounds.
29-year-old James Hedlington, also from Margate, died at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital on Thursday evening.
