Roads Policing officers from Hampshire Constabulary are dealing with a serious injury collision on the A3 this evening which means the northbound section at Liss will be closed for the next couple of hours.
At just after 4.30pm a Ford Transit Van was involved in a collision with a Combine Harvester, one mile south of the Ham Barn roundabout.
The male driver of the van has been taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
No-one else was hurt. The road should re-open in the next few hours once vehicles have been recovered and an investigation has been completed.

Kent Police is renewing its appeal for witnesses to a serious car crash between a cyclist and a van.
The incident happened on Saturday 7th September in Ringwould at 8.40am.
A blue Ribble road racing style bike was riding along the A258 Dover Road from Dover to Ringwould when it collided with a blue Vauxhall Vivaro van travelling in the same direction.
The rider of the bike suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital where he died the next day.

The A29 has been closed both ways between A24 Horsham Road (Beare Green Roundabout, Beare Green) and B2126 Cole's Lane (Ockley) due to a serious accident. The accident happened at 12:55 this afternoon, and the road is likely to remain closed until early evening.
A seven-year-old boy has been taken to Medway hospital after being hit by a van in Walderslade near Chatham in Kent.
The ambulance service was called to Sundridge Drive just before 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
The boy had injuries to his arms and legs.
