Ultra-marathon runner retraces his daughter's life saving route

A man from Kent is running a 45 mile route which saved his daughter's life - to raise money for her on-going care.

Two-and-a-half year old twin Evie Toner from Herne Bay is blind and has cerebral palsy after having a stroke when she was born.

Her father Gary is running the route between the maternity unit at the QEQM hospital in Margate - and the Neonatal Intensive care unit at The Medway Maritime Hospital.

Sarah Saunders spoke to parents Gary and Lucy Toner ahead of the run.
