Hampshire police are appealing for witnesses after a collision yesterday in Lyndhurst involving a car and a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at 4.10pm as the female pedestrian went to cross near the junction of Gosport Lane and High Street and was hit by a red Ford Ka.
She sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
The driver of the Ka, a woman, was shaken but uninjured.
Witnesses to this collision are asked to contact PC Phil Pentelow at Totton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Kennington.
