"They brought light and laughter to whoever met them"

It was to be an adventure of a lifetime for which they had planned, and saved together, for months. But tonight, a family has been left devastated by the loss of two sisters in a car crash in Morocco.

Pippa and Tara Darlington from the village of Whiteparish in Wiltshire were killed in the crash which happened in the early hours in the area of Tarfaya. Their friend, 21 year old Joshua Stump from Salisbury, is in a coma and has been transferred to hospital in Tenerife.

The family says Pippa, who was 21, and Tara who was 23 - were "two of the most beautiful and fun-loving girls who brought light and laughter to whoever met them". From Whiteparish, our correspondent, Martin Dowse reports.
