More than a 150 schoolchildren and adults are doing a sponsored walk to raise money for Oxford Children's Hospital this morning. Sir Roger Bannister will start proceedings at 11am. People can walk at any time between 11am & 1.30pm. Some Olympic torchbearers are also taking part.
Some participants will be in fancy dress costume - the theme: Alice in Wonderland.
The public are being invited to turn up and join in. Half of the money raised will go to the children's hospital's cancer ward – Kamran’s Ward. The other half will go the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) to support children with cancer across the UK.
