An air ambulance has been involved in the rescue of a woman who broke her ankle while walking close to Durdle Door in Dorset. Lulworth Coastguard rescue officers escorted an ambulance crew to the scene but they decided to call in the air ambulance.
The coastguards prepared a landing site and the woman was flown to hospital. They also came to the rescue of a sailing boat which broke down eight miles off Portland Bill.
