The Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner has announced that the force will sell some of its property portfolio to save money.
This includes Alpha Park, a building in Eastleigh which the force purchased in 2008 to redevelop into their new headquarters.
The building cost 2008 for £9.6m. £1.836m has been spent on Alpha Park since it was purchased, but it has never been used.
The force will also sell their current headquarters in Winchester and move to a small site at Mottisfont Court.
