The widow of a cyclist killed by a driver who was distracted by her sat nav says her life has fallen apart since his death.
A mother who knocked down and killed a cyclist while fiddling with the sat nav system in her car near Reading has been convicted of causing death by dangerous driving. Victoria McClure only spotted 46-year-old Anthony Hilson when she looked up at the last moment and crashed into him.
Reading Crown Court heard that McClure, of Charvil, 'drove blind' for almost 20 seconds before the collision. She denied causing death by dangerous driving - but the prosecution rejected her guilty plea to causing death by careless driving.
