Nine puppies. left in a cardboard box in a Southampton park, have all been named after characters from Downton Abbey. A lady walking her dog in the park in Sholing discovered the six-week old lurchers and took them to the Blue Cross centre in Southampton.
Laura Boyle, Blue Cross Rehoming Supervisor said, "The lady saw a tall cardboard box and heard crying coming from within it. When she got closer and opened it up, she was shocked to discover the nine puppies inside."
