Hampshire Police have launched an appeal to trace the owner of the medal that was lost in Andover.

It was found near the Folly Roundabout in Andover on Monday 17th December.

It has a Northern Ireland bar on the top with a "For campaign service" inscription on the back of the medal.

Inspector Paul Markham said:

"This could have huge sentimental value for the person who has lost it. A member of the public handed it in at Andover Police Station so we are now appealing for the public’s help to try and trace the owner.”
