Thames Valley Police has charged a man with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and a drugs offence.
Tabase Ahmed, aged 22, of Park Road, Banbury, has been charged with one count of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis.
The charges are in relation to an incident on Tuesday in which a car was reversed towards a police officer in Banbury. The officer was not injured.
Ahmed was released on bail to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on 28th April.
