Heart experts in Southampton have become the first in the UK to fit a patient with a new pill-sized pacemaker. The device, which is wireless, is the smallest in the world and is a tenth of the size of traditional models.
It's placed inside the wall of the heart which means no lead is needed to transmit signals.
