The future of a building once once known as a jewel in the UK theatre's crown could be decided next week. The Beatles and the Rolling Stones once played at the Brighton Hippodrome but it has been left derelict for almost ten years.

Now it could be re-developed as an eight screen cinema. But 11,300 people have signed a petition against the plans. Andy Dickenson reports.
