Officers in Poole investigating an assault on a teenager in the centre of town are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward – with a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with being released.

The incident happened at approximately 2.20pm on Sunday 8June 2014 at the bus station near to the Dolphin Centre.

A 16-year-old boy from Poole stood with a friend waiting for a bus when an unknown man ‘barked’ at him aggressively for no apparent reason. When the victim asked him what he was doing the suspect head-butted him and ran off toward the service road. The boy sustained a small cut to his face as a result of the attack.
