A football fan who suffered a heart attack while watching Reading play Barnsley, has returned to the Madejski stadium to thank the St John's Ambulance volunteers who saved his life.
Life-long Royals fan John Hayward was welcomed onto the pitch at half time during Saturday's game, after recovering from a triple heart bypass.
