A man from Hailsham has been jailed for nine years and nine months after admitting a string of knife offences over a two day period in May last year.
Mostafa Al-Saidi, 25, of Akehurst Close, Hellingly, Hailsham, pleaded guilty to committing grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article after he stabbed a man in the leg with a knife in The Drive, Hellingly on 20 May 2014.
Appearing at Lewes Crown Court on 14 April, Al-Saidi also admitted possessing a bladed article and committing affray after he produced a knife and threatened two women in the churchyard in Hailsham town centre on 23 May.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article and affray after he threatened staff with a knife in Simpsons Chicken takeaway in Hailsham High Street on the same day just 40 minutes after he had threatened the two women.
Later that evening, he threatened a food delivery driver in The Drive, Hellingly saying he had a gun. He admitted a charge of attempted robbery.
