Six soldiers are in hospital tonight after troop carriers crashed on Salisbury plain.

Twenty were taken for treatment by road and air ambulance. Two officers were airlifted with serious leg injuries, and another with wounds to the head. The accident happened during a counter terrorism exercise involving British and Indian troops
